Ours began in 1994 at Westend, a family-run restaurant where recipes weren’t written down, they were remembered. Passed from hand to hand, tasted, tweaked, and perfected over decades. Sometimes, that origin lives in a scribbled note tucked behind the spice rack.

Sometimes, in a masala dabba - each spice with a role, a rhythm, a reason and sometimes, it comes rushing back in a single bite - of food that tastes like home, like mom’s touch, like it’s been cooked for hours even if it hasn’t.

That’s where Bhun.O begins.

‘Bhun’ comes from bhunana, that exact moment when spices hit the pan and the whole room leans in. It’s the beginning of every real Indian dish.

And the ‘O’? That stands for Origin because with our curries, you don’t just start here.
